okay, so i've finally given in......

Over 3 years ago, before the LJ became vogue in the Cam... my friend Christopher Cashell tried suckering me in as he did several other friends to this "new craze" called LJ. Based on my principle to keep my private thoughts to myself, I refused. I refused and continued to refuse till I found out that one person who I want to talk to above all others has one, and that she can check it reliably, unlike her email. So yes, the Lady is my weakness.....

dinner and baby skunks......

So last night, my friend Mike and a couple others invite me to meet them for dinner at a buffett. I get there after them and see a little baby skunk trying to eat some gum off the sidewalk. Mind you the only thing that reduced the cuteness factor for people watching was fear of stink, but well, I know how to shower, so I took pity on the little one and grabbed a soft & chewey granola bar and started tossing it chunks. About this time, my friend Mike came out from the other side with a couple plastic bags to relocate the little one to the other side of the restaurant and the woods with a stream. Of course, that's when we found the second one, but it got fed and relocated as well. Well, the up side is the little ones were taken care of, but the bad side is unfortunately my stomach went acidic.

Oh well, can't have it all ;-)
